Your team gets the repo, the spec, a risk list, documentation written in their own language, and training on what I built. What they learn running it shapes the next round.
The Engineer builds. The Lead builds too, and adds the direction, office hours and team enablement: an AI point of view for your company, a roadmap tied to your quarterly priorities, team onboarding and governance. If you start with a build and later want your team enabled, you can move up.
Fractional, until AI work fills more than a few days a week or needs someone on your leadership team every day. Until then, a fractional lead sets the direction, gets the first builds working and shows you what the full-time role would actually be.
The Fractional AI Lead is From $10K/month for about a day a week, and the Forward-Deployed Engineer is $5K/month for one build stream at a time. Both are month-to-month with 30 days' notice.
