Who I am
Geekeri is the trading name of Geekeri Consulting LLC, a Colorado company run by me, Erin Wiggers. When this policy says "I" or "me," it means Geekeri Consulting LLC. You can reach me about anything in it at [email protected] or by mail at 1580 N Logan St Ste 660 PMB 760999, Denver, CO 80203-1994.
This policy covers geekeri.com, the client portal and the client docs that live on it. Client engagements also have their own signed proposal or agreement, and where that agreement covers your data, it wins.
What I collect and why
I only collect what a feature needs to work. Here's each place the site asks for information, what happens to it, and where it goes.
The Geek Brief newsletter. You give me your email address and, if you want, your first and last name. They go into my HubSpot account so I can send you the newsletter. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.
The RevOps Score. The assessment asks 12 questions about how your revenue operations run. Your answers stay in your browser while you work through it (see "Browser storage" below), and you see your score before I ask for anything. If you choose to unlock the full report, you give me your email and, optionally, your company name and company size, and the site sends those along with your answers and score to my server, which adds you as a contact in my HubSpot account and attaches your score and answers as a note. It doesn't sign you up for the newsletter.
Booking a call. The "Book a call" button opens my scheduling page, which runs on HubSpot Meetings. HubSpot collects the details you enter there (name, email, the time you pick and anything you type in the notes), and the booking lands in my HubSpot account.
Emailing or calling me. If you write or call, I keep the conversation so I can reply and follow up.
Client portal and client docs. If we work together, I set up an account for you using your work email. The portal stores what we exchange during the engagement: proposals and who accepted them (your name, email and the time), messages, onboarding answers, files you upload, testing notes and meeting notes. If you choose to share logins for systems I'm working on, they're encrypted before they're stored and only I can decrypt them. Client docs use the same sign-in, by password or a one-time code sent to your email.
Payments. Client invoices are paid through Stripe payment links. Stripe collects your card or bank details directly; I never see or store them. I keep a record of which payment was made and when.
Emails I send. Portal notifications (a new proposal, project updates, review rounds, meeting summaries, a kickoff note) are sent through Resend. Sign-in codes and password resets are sent by Supabase, which runs the portal's accounts.
Who processes your data
I don't sell personal data, and I don't share it with anyone for advertising. These companies process it on my behalf to run the site and my business:
| Company | What it does for me |
|---|---|
| Tag Manager, Analytics and Fonts | |
| HubSpot | My CRM, the newsletter, scheduling, site analytics and the cookie banner |
| Supabase | Portal and docs accounts, the database and file storage |
| Stripe | Payments |
| Resend | Portal emails |
| Slack | Internal notifications to me about portal activity, which can include a client's name and an excerpt of a message |
| DigitalOcean | Hosting. Its server logs record requests to the site (the address, the response and the time), not the details you submit through a form. |
I may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect my rights or someone's safety.
How long I keep it
Newsletter contacts stay in HubSpot until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them, and RevOps Score contacts stay until you ask me to delete them. Client portal records stay for the length of the engagement and as long afterward as I need them for taxes, accounting and the terms of our agreement. Analytics data follows Google's and HubSpot's retention settings. If you want something deleted sooner, ask.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me to show you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and I'll reply within 30 days. I may need to confirm it's you first. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under your local privacy law, and I'll honor them.
Security
Portal data sits behind sign-in, with access rules in the database that limit each client to their own records. Files are kept in private storage. Shared logins are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, so if something goes wrong I'll tell affected people as the law requires.
Children
This site is for businesses. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
When I change this policy, I'll update the effective date at the top. If a change affects how I use data you've already given me, I'll tell you by email first.
